Description
Vintage Thai sterling silver salad serving set comprising a large serving fork and serving spoon. Each piece features a highly detailed figural finial depicting a Thai deity (described as a Buddha-style figure) in traditional regalia, set within a pointed flame-shaped surround with intricate repoussé and chased decorative work — the finials show warm gilded highlights against the bright silver ground. The handles taper to a flat, polished shank. Both pieces are marked on the reverse 'Made in Thailand Sterling 925' and carry additional personalized engraving on the back. The spoon measures approximately 9.9 inches long; the fork measures approximately 9.65 inches long. Combined weight of the pair is 158 g. Good overall condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use.
