Description
Frigast sterling silver sauce ladle from Denmark, marked "Frigast Sterling Denmark" on the reverse. The piece features a deep, round bowl with a tapered flat handle. Near the bowl, the handle is decorated with an applied foliate motif in the Danish Modern style. The terminal is a cast, openwork finial with scrollwork flanking a crosshatched acorn — a hallmark design element of Frigast's Acorn-style flatware. The handle shows light surface scratching consistent with age and use; the bowl retains a warm silver patina. Measures 7.1 inches in total length by approximately 2.45 inches in bowl width. Total weight 84 g.
